The drop out scabbard for Iron Fox Tool Co. It will fit all of the IFTC heads. Hand made in the USA from stainless steel hard parts and high grade leather. Designed to securely hold the breach axe in a way that deploys quickly and easily stows.
All scabbards are hand made to order, so there is a wait time.

Order your regular waist size (we account for turnouts). Put custom text in comments at checkout. See below for more details. Scabbards are built for the individual user, so returns are not accepted.

The Leather
The leather is pretreated and sealed before assembly, double stitched, and reinforced with heavy duty rivets to ensure longevity. The inside is lined with a high temperature, cut resistant, composite sheet to reduce wear and reinforce the leather pocket.
The Friction Swivel
The friction swivel allows you to rotate the axe on the belt and have it stay in any desired position. The axe is held firmly in place by two straps. The primary leather strap comes with the IRON FOX AXES name and logo and has a hook and loop closure. The secondary strap has one way snaps that fasten around the handle to prevent accidental deployment.
They come in a right hand and left hand configuration. Right hand sits on the right side of the body with the blade facing forward. Left hand sits on the left side of the body with the blade facing forward.
The Truck Belt
The truck belt is 3 inches wide and comes with the classic snap hook for quick deployment. Belts are built to size. When ordering, order your normal waist size. We will account for the additional size of turnouts.
Customizing the Scabbard
The primary leather strap can be customized with your name at no extra cost. Choose one of four font options (Arial Black, Old English, Orion Pax, or Saddlebag). If you order custom text, put your text and font choice in the comment box during the checkout process.
Example: Text: Williams or WILLIAMS, Font: Old English. If you forget to input that at checkout, contact us with your order number and custom preferences.
